The Aim and Objectives of the Conference:
- Understanding the status of digital transformation in the information institutions and its role in achieving sustainable development goals.
- Impact of the current Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications on the information institutions in the Arab Region in terms of its advantages and risks.
- Presenting exceptional models of institutions where digital transformation has positive impact in achieving sustainable development goals.
- Listing AI programs and applications associated with art and creative designs in libraries and displaying samples of it.
- Develop a national strategy for digital transformation in information institutions that has an effective role in achieving the sustainable development goals.
Conference Theme:
- Impact of digital transformation on achieving sustainable development goals in information institutions (libraries, information centers, documentation, and archives centers).
- Job market requirements due to AI technology and its applications, as well as its impact on library and information science education and training.
- Role of data management in achieving sustainable development goals.
- Role of international and regional information organizations in achieving sustainable development.
- Role of national information and knowledge portals in sustainable development.
- AI software and applications associated with the arts and creative designs of libraries.
Research Papers Criteria:
The research paper must match the conference theme/topics and make sure that the scope of your presentation matches the time allowed for presentation.
- Research paper submitted to the conference must have scientific value and need to present authentic, original, and innovative idea. It shouldn’t have previously been published or presented earlier at another conference.
- Adhere to the scientific research methods while preparing the research paper, selecting the proper methodology, and clearly state the research subject and its questions/hypothesis.
- Your reference list should appear at the end of your paper, using APA style. It provides the information necessary for a reader to locate and retrieve any source you cite in the paper.
- Language must be accurate, concise, clear, complete, and objective.
- Paper should be written on a computer using Traditional Arabic” font, size 14.
- Paper should not exceed 25 pages and not less than 20 pages.
- An Arabic abstract should be included in the paper with a maximum of 250 words and should not contain figures.
- It is mandatory that the author should present the conference paper otherwise the paper is not eligible for acceptance.
- The author must prepare a power-point presentation to be presented at the conference.
- Only abstracts and full-text papers received by the published deadlines are guaranteed to be accepted at the conference.
Deadlines:
- Abstract submission deadline: May 1, 2024
- Abstract acceptance deadline: May, 15, 2024
- Full-text paper submission deadlines: August, 1, 2024
- Full-text Paper submission deadlines after reviewers’ comments: August, 10, 2024.

- Egyptians: 1500 EGP
- Non-Egyptians: 50 USD
