The strategy was launched under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi – to reflect the importance of the intellectual property mechanism as a significant tool for policymakers and, when employed correctly, have the power to engender innovation and economic development.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, attended the ceremony in the presence of the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, numerous Ministers, several members of the House of Representatives & Advisory Council, senior statesmen, and presidents of universities.
Professor Maha Elhalaby, Editor-in-Chief of the International Arab Journal of Art and Digital Design has participated in the launching of the National Intellectual Property Strategy in Egypt, which was held in September 21, 2022.Cairo During the ceremony, Dr. Elhalaby had a successful meeting with the counselor Ameen Magdy, a member of the Council of Ministers’ Advisors and president’s committee for strategic planning. Luckily, Dr. Elhalaby met with Mr. Darren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization and discussed the role of civil society organizations to promote education, dissemination and raising the awareness of intellectual property and how it is essential in developing society.
